August 21-22, 2021: Cedar Creek Open – A-Tier
Registration will open on Friday, February 19th at 7:00pm on Disc Golf Scene!
This will be the 15th year of the Cedar Creek Open. Wow. We are so proud of this event, and equally greatful for all of the players, volunteers, and sponsors that have come together to make it one of the best disc golf events in the Midwest. Fun courses, great amenities, awesome payouts, and a disc-golf-family-reunion vibe really set CCO apart. Continuing to improve from year to year is tough, but we are always up for the challenge!
As always, CCO will offer lots of added cash and prizes. This year's Open Champion will once again take home $2000, and amateur payouts will remain huge. All Ams will also receive a nice player's pack. This year's player pack has not been determined yet, but last year's player pack included: one CCO water-resistant jacket, one CCO tournament stamped disc, free entry into the ace pool, free entry into all side games, free water on the courses during all rounds, and a few other goodies.
The format will be three rounds of 18-holes - one on each of the Cedar Creek courses. Players will play two rounds on Saturday and one on Sunday morning. After that, top players from each division will square off in a final nine.
There will also be plenty of side action throughout the event. During Friday check-in there well be flex-start doubles events on both courses and three skills competitions (accuracy, putting, and mini-putting). Those who cannot make it on Friday will still have a brief window to make their way into the finals. There are even opportunities during the rounds to get win some extra prizes. There will be CTPs on every hole for AMs on Cedar Creek East and card winner prizes for AMs on Cedar Creek West. We hope to continue our Double-Up challenge as well!

The following pool allocations are estimates based on previous years of registration, expanded slightly with our new course. If you feel like a certain division deserves more spots, prove it with your registration! Please don't wait and count on spots to be open later. Last year the tournament filled within 24 hours. But at any point, if a certain division has been full for a month or more, and a significant waitlist is present, and other spots are still open, then these allocations will be adjusted accordingly.

Pre-registration: We are doing online registration ourselves again this year on this website. Last year's event filled in only five days, so please don't hesitate. Online registration available here!
Waitlist: Because of the popularity of the event and how far in advance it fills up, managing the waitlist has been a bit challenging. This year we will be starting a practice that has been very common for big events. In order to join the waitlist you will need to pay a small, non-refundable fee.
